Terms of Service
By installing or using LATYS, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. What you're buying
LATYS is a desktop application. The founder license is a one-time US$5 purchase for lifetime access to the app for you, the buyer. You are paying for the LATYS software and access to its founder community — not for AI usage.
2. Bring your own AI
LATYS orchestrates AI coding agents using your own AI provider accounts, subscriptions, API keys, or CLI logins. You are solely responsible for your AI providers' costs, usage, and terms. We do not provide AI compute and do not pay for your AI usage.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use LATYS for unlawful purposes or to violate your AI providers' terms.
- Abuse, harass, threaten, or harm other community members; post illegal, hateful, or infringing content (including GIFs); or spam.
- Reverse engineer the licensing to use the app without a valid license, or resell/redistribute the app or license keys.
We may suspend or remove community access for violations, including removing content and blocking accounts.
4. The community
The community is optional. Content you post is your responsibility. We provide block and report tools and may moderate at our discretion, but we don't pre-screen content and aren't responsible for what other members post.
5. Licenses and refunds
A license is tied to the purchasing customer. Because this is a low-cost digital product delivered as a key, refunds are at our discretion — contact [email protected] within 14 days if something isn't working and we'll try to make it right.
6. No warranty
LATYS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It can run commands and edit files on your machine; you are responsible for using its approval/safety controls and for backing up your work. We are not liable for data loss, AI costs, or damages arising from use, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Beta software
LATYS is early founder-beta software. Features may change, break, or be removed.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
